Adventure #1 – Inspiration Point Loop – Completed

Inspiration point trail ended up being like every other tail in the west part of the Santa Monica Mountains. Populated and uninspiring.

I am not sure if this is how the trail signs worked or not but, it seemed like they put the distance to the next trail sign on the signs. Which is odd in my opinion. Once we made it to inspiration point all we could see was a barely visable Beverly Hills. It ended up being too overcast/smoggy to be inspired by the view. Even if it had not been overcast, I believe it would still be a fairly uninspiring view. We ended up hiking past inspiration point for about a half mile and decided to go back.

On the plus side. We had another hiker(Bill) join our crew. He told us about a few hikes he has been on near his house. We plan to do those in a week or two.

Any way, being that it was overcast and bright as hell there were not many opportunities for good photos. These are about the only two the turned out at all.
